Greenhouse Tech Hub

The Greenhouse Tech Hub is located in the new Salesforce Tower building at 180 George St in Sydney. Supported by the City of Sydney, the Tech Hub reflects the City’s commitment to foster the innovation economy and encourage outstanding environmental performance – including its goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2035.

A 3,800 sqm climate-focused, co-working and collaboration space in Sydney to build community and inspire innovation as we respond to climate change. The Tech Hub provides cost-effective and flexible workspace options in a desirable location in the heart of Sydney City for climate tech companies and all participants in the ecosystem.  There is also event space to connect climate-tech companies with corporates, capital providers, government and subject matter experts.

Innovation Challenges

Greenhouse has access to a world-class open innovation platform to run innovation challenges that can be used in a number of ways:

Internal Challenges

For corporate entities: these challenges support the team members of a large corporate where they can ideate and assess submissions that could be used to benefit the companies net-zero transition.  Additionally, the employees themselves in their personal lives reduce their carbon footprint.

Open Ecosystem Challenges

Can be used by anyone: they could be sponsored by a government entity, large corporate or a community group.  Ecosystem Challenges consist of a call to action for people around the world to submit solutions to problems the sponsor is currently facing in relation to their transition to net-zero.

Climate Tech Investment Opportunities

Greenhouse and Investible offer two investment opportunities to support early-stage climate tech companies:

  • The Investible Climate Tech Fund supports high-growth technology companies globally focussed on a net-zero future.  As a sophisticated investor or corporate entity you can join the fund along with other like-minded people who want to make positive financial returns and at the same time help our planet.
  • Greenhouse also has a type of Venture Debt structure to support early-stage climate tech companies with competitively priced debt funding. This financing option is mainly for corporate entities interested in supporting the scaling of climate tech companies.

Programs & Events

Greenhouse provides programs and events to engage with the ecosystem to explore topics, build connections and accelerate change.  Expert facilitators run both in-person and virtual events that could be a workshop, or a larger scale conference targeted to specific needs.  There are also tailored growth programs, international immersions, and knowledge exchange.
